Inc. magazine recently added Dallas-based AccelSPINE® to its renowned Inc. 5000 list; this is an exclusive ranking list of the fastest-growing private firms in the country. For this year’s list, the designer and manufacturer of medical devices is ranked 2,752 nationwide, with an associated 132 percent growth over a 3-year period. According to the magazine, the companies represented in the list are the most competitive firms in the list’s entire history.
AccelSPINE® is nationally recognized medical device company. The firm creates and advances spinal implants and instruments to address surgeons’ and patients’ needs.

The list was started in 1982, recognizing the nation’s private firms with the most proven success in their respective industries. Since then, the list has become a recognized hallmark for entrepreneurial success. Companies like Yelp, Timberland, Pandora, Domino’s, Dell, Pizza, Zillow, LinkedIn and other well-known names gained their early exposure as members of the Inc. 5000.
The list is ranked taking into account a percentage of the revenue growth comparing the progression between 2011 and 2014. In order to qualify, firms must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011. Further, they have to be U.S.-based, have to meet revenue minimums and be privately held.
