OxySure Systems is a Frisco, Texas-based medical device innovator of emergency oxygen solutions that are easy to use and can save lives. The company, which manufactures, designs and distributes respiratory and medical solutions based on “oxygen from powder” technology, recently announced a partnership with Cardiac Science Corporation (Cardiac Science), a market-leading manufacturer of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Together, the new partnership will work to advance several strategic initiatives in the medical device industry based on both companies’ technologies.
As part of the new partnership, both companies plan to engage in a series of joint public outreach initiatives. Cardiac Science will make available 25 of its Powerheart®G3 Plus AEDs to support OxySure Special Olympics World Games that is taking place between July 25 and August 2 in Los Angeles. OxySure is currently supporting attendees and participants of the World Games, providing OxySure Model 615 units, AEDs and OxySure Pulse Oximeters to the all the 27 venues, Spectator First Aid tents, Fields of Play and overnight nursing staff.
In addition, OxySure and Cardiac Science plan to establish and launch the Kylee Shea Miracle Foundation, which is being founded in honor of Kylee Shea, a cardiac arrest survivor.

The Cardiac Science Powerheart®G5 AED is the most recent and advanced Cardiac Science AED developed to date, and first-time rescuers will now be able to benefit from the Powerheart G5’s RescueCoach™ intuitive pad design, user-paced instruction and automatic shock delivery to decrease the probability of human error.
