Inova Labs Inc., a leading expert on manufacturing innovative oxygen therapy solutions, has recently announced that Dennis Meteny will join as Non-Executive Director of the company’s Board of Directors.
Mr. Dennis Meteny spent 15 years as Vice President and CFO at Respironics, Inc. beginning in 1984, and he become CEO and President of the company in 1994 until 1999. During the time he was in charge, Respironics grew to more than $400 million in annual revenues.
Meteny was also the President and member of the Board of Directors of Cygnus Manufacturing Company (CMC); CMC is a company focused on manufacturing services for medical device, aerospace, transportation and energy markets.
Further, Mr. Meteny was a former Executive in Residence with The Pittsburgh Life Sciences Greenhouse and the last President and Board Member of Tissue Informatics Inc., a company specialized in the medical imaging sector.
Meteny holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Katz School of Business. Currently, he is the Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chairman for Angiodynamics, Inc., and as a Director of Blue Water Growth, a global business consulting firm.
Inova Lab’s Board is now expanded to five members with the appointment of Mr. Meteny; he is joining CEO John Rush, Mark Wan and Rod Young from Three Arch Partners, Steve Salmon of Latterell Venture Partners and Geoff Pardo of Gilde Healthcare Partners.
