Dr. George Bisset III, immediate past president of The Radiological Society of North America, chief of the Department of Pediatric Radiology at Texas Children’s Hospital and Edward B. Singleton Professor of Radiology at Baylor College of Medicine, underscored the significance of Texas Children’s Hospitals’ opportunity to make a mark at this year’s event, stating: “As a strong advocate for pediatric radiology, I am thrilled that Texas Children’s will have such a high profile at this international conference,” and adding, “Our participation at this conference will cover an extensive variety of areas and topics within the field of pediatric radiology, truly demonstrating the broad expertise of our department.”
According to a recent Texas Children’s press release, the hospital’s radiological experts will present on a variety of topics related to pediatric radiology subspecialty care, including heart, fetal, orthopedic and pulmonary. Additionally, representatives from the hospital will be discussing basic science research findings and providing professional development and advice to fellow pediatric radiologists and scientists.
