Premier Biomedical’s CEO Invited to Speak at Brewer Sports Symposium V

premier biomedicalWilliam A. Hartman, Premier Biomedical president and CEO, has been invited to participate in the Brewer Sports Symposium V, the company announced yesterday. The symposium, that will take place in Miami, Florida, on April 24, features the 4th Sports Law CLE for Rookies and Veterans and will be animated by the presence of representatives from various professional sports organizations, including high-level executives and general counsel from the NFL, NHL, NBA and NASCAR, along with numerous other presentations and panels to examine and analyze current issues affecting the sports industry today. As an expert on traumatic brain injury (TBI), Hartman is scheduled to speak on the Concussions panel, from a science perspective.

“Thrilled and honored” to participate in the discussion of some of Premier’s latest developments in the treatment of concussive injuries, Hartman considers this an issue that “is growing in importance, not only to the victims of career-ending traumatic and chronic concussive injuries, but to their families, and to the very future of the sports in which they participate.”

Premier Biomedical is developing technology to treat traumatic brain injury and related neurological diseases in coordination with their partners in R&D at the Department of Defense (DOD) with Center of Expertise at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, and the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP).

The Brewer Sports Symposium unites business leaders, high-level executives, renowned scientists, international diplomats, major media outlets, educators and current and former professional athletes to address, examine and analyze some of the most pressing issues affecting sports worldwide. That includes business of sport, media and the law, concussions in sport, athlete career transitions and sport for development topics in an effort to create an open dialogue by using sport as a tool to educate and foster social change.
